More at the Carton House Golf Club ... The Clubhouse, a former stable block to the west of Carton House was renovated and remodeled into a beautifully appointed clubhouse, opened in April 2004. The exterior décor remains untouched, while the interior décor retains all the features of the old stable area. Theere is a distinctive mix of the old and new in the clubhouse with all the modern facilities to be expected of one of Ireland's tope golf clubs.

The Golf Academy at Carton House, golfers can avail a variety of tuition packages. The Carton House resident Golf Professional is on have to teach all levels of golfers. On site is the Golfing Unions of Ireland National Coaching Centre which incorporates indoor driving bays, gressed tee areas and an extensive short game practice area with three spec greens and a large bunker complex.

Fly Fishing at Carton House, the River Rye flows freely through the estate creating a natural lake above the Salmon Weir and provides a wonderful setting for some enjoyable fishing. The river is primarilu a brown trout fishery. Expert tuition is on hand for those unfamiliar with the art of fly and rod.
