About The Vaughan Lodge Hotel The Vaughan Lodge is a 4th generation family owned hotel located County Clare with the original hotelier family members starting their first shop and boarding house in 1820. The original Vaughan Lodge burnt down in 1922 and was rebuilt in 1930. Since then the lodge has undertaken a full redesign to bring it up to date to its full glory.
