About Rathmullan House Rathmullan House Hotel is a deeply historic residence located on the Northern shores of Ireland. The house was orginally built in 1820 as a summer home for the Knox family. It was sold to the Batt family, a wealthy Belfast family who are the founders of Belfast Bank. The house then exchanged hands just before World War II where it was purchased by the Holiday Fellowship and used for walking holidays through Rathmullan. Finally, it was purchased by the Wheeler family in 1962, who are still the owners through today. They have done extensive renovations and restorations to the house to turn it into a immaculate 21-bedroom hotel.

In 2004, the Regency Wing opened its doors. This 10-room wing has rooms with double-doors that open up to patios located around the gardens. These rooms also offer incredible views of Lough Swilly. All of the rooms in Rathmullan House are decorated differently, you can choose the style room that best fits what you are trying to achieve on your next Ireland golf vacation.
